Event on Greenland, Hokkaido University (11/7)
Hokkaido University Sustainability Week 2016 will hold the following event.
Music, Adventure and Science on Greenland – For sustainable future in the Arctic –
Institute of Low Temperature Science together with Arctic Research Center at Hokkaido University organize a public event on Greenland and its changing natural and social environments.
Special guests of the event are, “Nanook” the No. 1 popular music bank in Greenland, and “Akihiro Tachimoto” an extreme skier explored in Greenland. The audience will learn Greenlandic cultures and nature from acoustic live performance by Nanook, films on Greenland expeditions by Akihiro, as well as talks by scientists from the university.
