Call for participants: International Russian-Japanese youth school-conference

"International Russian-Japanese youth school-conference"  will be held during October 11-12, 2016 in Moscow (Russian Academy of Sciences). Young scientists (under 41-years old) including master and doctor course students in multidiscipinary fields (natural, social, humanity sciences) are welcome to participate. Travel and accomedation costs will be provided for participants under the exchange program of Japan Russia Yorth Exchange Center.

Program

1) A workshop(oral & poster presentation) to build networks among young researchers. Tentative sessions are:

1. Polar marine and terrestrial ecosystems
2. Permafrost and glaciers within the present conditions of climate change.
3. Anthropogenic impact on Arctic ecosystems.
(social or humanity science if required)

2) Lectures and a panel discussion by senior researchers about carrier-pass of young scientists 

3) Visiting institutes and laboratories related to arctic research in Russia

4) Cultural exchanges among scientists

Schedule: Octorber 10 to 14 or 15 (2-days concerences, 1-day extra day, 2-days traveling, depending on flight schedules)
